And we connected on Instagram, and we’re gonna be talking about her routine as well as the manifestation. So welcome, Olivia to the podcast.

Olivia Haltman  0:45

Thank you very much for inviting me. I’m pretty excited. All right.

Hannah Mitrea  0:48

Awesome. And so I know, you know, like I mentioned, we met on Instagram, because you’re posting about manifestation. It’s one thing like, we all hear a lot about. Yeah. But like, how do you do it? And so like, kind of give us your story, your background, a little bit of you know, where you came from? How you got there?

Olivia Haltman  1:09

Yeah. Where I came from, so I came from, from my background, right? Yeah. So I was born in Amsterdam. And I, my parents come from SU, and I’m so relieved from SU nm, which is in South America. And then, so I was raised there. And then I moved to Ireland, when I was around 20, early 20s, something like that. And, yeah, it’s a mixture of background of, you know, European background, and then obviously, where I’m from. So when you would be in the house is like, you know, you’re back home, so to say, and, and when you like school, and whatever you’d like Europe. So it was nice to have a combination. You know, when you’re young, you don’t even realize these things. So it’s like very rich to have, you know, both of both being raised in both both and understanding both as well. And so that is sort of my background. And then when I went to school, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do. I was one of those kids who just like, go with the flow, everyone goes this way, I go this way, because I literally didn’t know what I wanted to do in life. And I’m kind of introverted, which I didn’t realize until much, much later to be quiet, even though maybe your people don’t say, I’m quite interested in when I was younger, you really would notice it now probably not that much, because I’m very aware kind of has worked with it was when I was young, I was pretty much like ask me a question, I would be like, Yeah, and I wouldn’t like elaborate on stuff, basically. So and I was definitely supported to sort of look for what I wanted to do in life as well. So, you know, education was very scary for me, academic stuff was very scary for me. So I would always sort of go with the flow, and ended up doing economics or something like that, and went into I went into recruitment. And then I’ll get into finance, like debit credit, stuff. And so I’ve been doing, I’ve been doing that for a while. And then I moved to Ireland. And then I got married there. And that’s where everything sort of started. Because I got married, everything was fine. And then it wasn’t, but it wasn’t to do with a marriage, it was still because I didn’t get to cut to the stage where I got stuck with, with where I wanted to be live what I wanted to do, really and truly, because all of this time I’ve been just like, not every flurry, do whatever people are doing. And then I realized, yeah, if something wasn’t right, and I couldn’t even explain it to my, to my to my husband, that’s sort of where we split up, to be honest, because I had to choose for me, because that was like something that’s not right. And that’s sort of where my journey of all of this started. With, you know, choosing for myself, figuring out self development, you know, and then also, you know, how do you then manifest what is your what are your dreams? What are efficients? I’m saying this now, in the sense, but at a time, I didn’t realize I was doing that if you know, thinking back later, when I start doing my stuff. I was like, looking back, I was like, Oh, this is what I was doing. This was not going through depression. I didn’t know it was depression, you know, that kind of thing. So it was very interesting to sort of learn about myself during the years. Yeah.

Hannah Mitrea  4:24

Yeah, it’s very interesting. hearing your story. How you grew up in Amsterdam, you moved to Ireland, did you move there all alone? Or did you have family that moved there was kind of triggered? Oh,

Olivia Haltman  4:34

interesting enough. I had Amsterdam. And I wanted to go to the States because I used to go to the States every year and I really liked I just really liked it. And my aim was go to America, but then the green card situation was this like too stressful and was easy to get to get in and to find work and stuff like that. Then my friend actually moved to England because she was doing some hair Studies. And then I moved to England first actually, I was lying before I didn’t leave for such a long time. But yeah, I moved to England first. And because my friend was already here, she was too black hairstylist. Because in general, she didn’t have that. And she was obviously a hairdresser. So I was like, okay, America is going to be like, you know, it was kind of stressing me out too much with the whole green card stuff. Let me just go to England first still in America, America

Hannah Mitrea  5:28

stresses us out without a green card. That’s out of America.

Olivia Haltman  5:36

All right. And yeah, so I decided I still want to go America, but an opportunity to leave the country. Let me go to London first England first. So that’s how I ended up in London. And then I worked there. No, it was quite easy as I got a job within two months, to be honest. So it was quite the moment it wasn’t quick, in my mind, it was because, but it was everything because like, it’s quite quick to find a job for two in two months, right? Find a job started working. And then I met my partner here in London, but he was living in Ireland. So I was like, Well, I can go to America, let me just go to an island and get a job. They’re very quick as well to notice in five weeks, I had a job there a technical support. By the way, I don’t know if you remember the zip drives, like the external drives back in the days, I was doing the technical support for that. And I was like, I’m a different technical, but that’s what I did. And yeah, that’s how I ended up in Ireland. And then we got married. And that’s sort of how sort of ended up in Ireland. And then when it didn’t work out, and that is the point where I really got really mentally confused, because I just wasn’t feeling happy. And I was like, I didn’t understand I couldn’t be verbalize. I didn’t know what was going on. All I know is that I find it difficult to drive. And sometimes I was crying in the office. And I was just like, hella bad crying in the office is like what’s going on? I was really confused. And I couldn’t explain to him, because I didn’t understand myself. All I knew is that I had to choose. For me, that is one of the things that I knew I had to choose for me. And I had to sort of be by myself to do that. And he didn’t understand it, because he has like a husband, you know, I had to I have to support him, like I understand. But I need to be by myself, like need to figure it out myself. He didn’t get that. So I had to make that choice then to sort of choose for me and say, Well, I’m just gonna go. And I just basic stuff, and then came to London to the safe friend to who is basically, who was in LA was still in London. So I went back to London, basically. And yeah, so that’s sort of where that journey sort of started for me.

Hannah Mitrea  8:01

I’m gonna say sounds like that’s when your flipped, switched kind of on, you know, I need to figure out my routine, I need to figure out, yeah, manifestation what I need in life. So share with us a little bit of, you know, what that routine is and how it got started for you, because you’re in a professional world. And then if you’re surrounded probably by a lot of development, and so on development, self development. And so I’m really interested to see how that that journey grew for you. Yes, on development.

Olivia Haltman  8:30

So when I came back to London, I, obviously he was in this depressive state, which I actually call, I was in my own bubble. That’s how I always call it my Dark Ages, I will say, my dark ages and my own bubble. I was still managing with work and stuff like that I was still doing whatever I needed to do. But then that didn’t fit in as well. And went on for a few years, to be honest, that shifts of choosing for myself, really helped me to how can I say the shift of choosing for myself really helped me to sort of make the next step necessary switch, but it switched to quite took like maybe took like a few years to sort of process whatever was going through. And then because I was because of what I was going through, I started to look on the internet about not getting support or understanding what was going on for me. And then I came across counseling. And then the interesting thing that I did is like I didn’t go into counseling myself. At that time, I decided that I wanted to do a course for counseling. I did like, introduction, I was like, oh, yeah, this is what I need. Not to realize, this is what I need for me. You know? Yeah. And so that’s what I sort of started where I actually, in my early 20s realized that there was a personal development. I never really understood that I could develop mentally, that could change and that I could have a voice that people actually Listen to me, I didn’t, for whatever reason I was, that’s what I said, I was in my own bubble. And I was quite comfortable with that. And I realized, wow, I can change, I can actually do whatever I want to do, I can, people will listen to me, you know. And then I went into the counseling. And that’s where the shift sort of happened where I first started my studies, and I was working as well. And then I realized not working and studying is not going to work is just too much. And I consciously decided, I’m going to quit my job, I’m going to focus fully focused on re educating myself as a counselor. And I said to myself, I’m gonna do that for three years, and then I’m gonna go back work 50%, in office 50% as a counselor, and that’s when I, when I actually did it, I mean, it was really hard because I actually work in a period of time, I actually also worked in in clubs as a bouncer. So it was really, really strange experience to sort of go work nights, then in that kind of thing. And then obviously, go back and study and, and do my placements and stuff like that. But after three years, I realized when I got my qualification, I actually literally in two weeks time, got a part time job, which I was looking for, to be honest, before didn’t work out my part time job. And I got part time counseling as a volunteer, though, but I did it. And then I realized and acting back, how does that How did it happen? You know, how did I actually take that, and the realization of, you know, first two, that I was starting to be aware of what was going on for me, in my mind. So I was aware of the things that I was thinking. And I think the counseling, but I think I know, the counselor, my education, my boss, my studies really helped with that. Because obviously, as a counselor, you have to go into counseling yourself study that I did. And obviously, you learned a lot of stuff abandoned mines in how we work. So I realized what I was doing is that I was starting to get aware of how I was thinking, and what the things that I believe that I was telling myself, and I actually believe that those things were not really true. And that came from someone else, or different experiences that you just take on, which everyone does. And it doesn’t mean that when we do that, it’s something that is not helpful, a lot of times it can be helpful as well. So I started to be aware of what I was thinking, then I started looking at where those things were coming from, why am I thinking like this, what is going on? Now, who told me this versus must have modeled for me, and then I start to create new thinking, I started to believe more for myself. So creating new things, new beliefs for myself. And then process of bring it all together, that was quite a long process, because that’s when you get like, you know, the struggle of doubting yourself and just coming back to the beliefs, they’ll go back and forth, back and forth, back struggling in mind, because all of those years, you believe those things, and now you realize, myself all of these lies, it’s not true. I’ll switch it around. So that’s a little bit the sort of reconnecting all of those things. So the awareness where it’s coming from, and okay, who want to who don’t want to be now, you know, and then when I, when I’m done that, I then had to sort of find a way to sort of maintain it, you know, get support coach or something like that. The coach part came much later than I realized, but a support and maintaining that. So I realized I was doing that. So that’s not my daily routine. But that is sort of the routine that I that’s those are the stages that I had to go through to, to sort of get to the point where I am now at a time to sort of actually manifest to sort of activate have no specific mindset and being able to recreate that, ya

Hannah Mitrea  13:47

know, and that’s incredible to be able to have that shift, where you can realize the Self talk, you’re having realized the power that you have, you know, I think a lot of people go through life, not ever finding out that they can flip that switch to be in a positive mindset to manifest the things they need. And so it sounds like you didn’t really grow up with a lot of routine. Like, that wasn’t something you were surrounded by a lot.

Olivia Haltman  14:12

Well, now, maybe the last 10 years, I realized that my mum was doing lots of these things, but she never told me that. So some things she, when I was older, she for example, say I didn’t speak about my actual routines, my daily routines. But a lot of daily routines that I have now she was doing when she was like young and I never really realized. So it was partly maybe it was I don’t know it’s really strange because, for example, she would for example, say to me when I when I leave the house, she does a specific routine before she leaves the house just like no positive mind beside be grounded, that kind of thing. So she sort of created this energy for herself before she leaves the house. So uplift herself or if I feel too good or anxious, she would look in the mirror and just say positive things to herself. And but the thing is, she’s never really told me to do it. But I think so do that. So it’s a difference of you’re seeing someone doing something, sometimes we copy it, and sometimes we not. But then when you’re older, you realize, ah, she was doing that. It’s quite interesting thing back that. I’m like, why don’t you tell me those things? Why didn’t you ask me? Tell me those things if you don’t want to. But it’s fine. It’s fine. But yeah, so I didn’t have it from home like that. But I think it’s part of, of somewhere. It’s is part of the culture or a part of how I was raised, partly, and

Hannah Mitrea  15:43

I think that’s so powerful, just in what you said, right there, and you’re gonna have this routine, but she never really told you about it. And in her mind, it was probably something that you like, obviously, it’s what we do. And I think that’s like, you know, because I have a daughter. And I think that’s really powerful for me to even take in and go, Hey, I need to make sure I’m verbalizing these things I’m doing. Yeah, that have changed, like the way I think and the way I act and how, like I go about life. Because there really is, and especially because, you know, they’re in school. So they’re having all this social peer pressure. Yeah, sometimes it’s not good. And sometimes it just takes them a different way. So I think that’s really neat that you share that. But your mom really didn’t verbalize it to you. So you had her turn around. You just never knew you had a routine around you.

Olivia Haltman  16:31

Yeah. Yeah. And it’s in the, the other part is important as well. Now, you mentioned it’s like doing stuff with intention. So you’re saying, daughter, and, you know, now you can do stuff with intention. And let’s be more helpful as well. Because now, you know, you can actually plant the seeds with intention. Because the civil copy stuff that you do anyway, without? Oh, that’s

Hannah Mitrea  16:55

because everything I do on my husband this morning, everything hurts. Because we went for a hike if Shane actually told her that first. And later on as Thomas, I was like, Oh, my goodness, from everything he writes. And he was like, Dude, you said that earlier? I was like, did she now? Appreciate I said that to her earlier? Copy? Yeah. All right. Well, tell me about what is your routine now. So what do you do every day? Now that you’ve, you know, have that self to say I’m pretty had that, you know, that mindset shift? Really, what are you doing every day to create, like, the manifestation, the positive, and the thing.

Olivia Haltman  17:33

So I have a few things I actually have. Yeah, a few things. So in the mornings, when I basically come up and come down to something downstairs, first thing I do is gratitude. You know, gratitude for just me being there. But also gratitude for my ancestors. Because they’re in my blood, they, you know, I have the genes and they’re giving me strength. And then I do a specific breathing exercise, the five winning exercise, I don’t know if you ever heard of it, but it’s like both poor sleep breathing out. And I’m doing that sort of feel more grounded. So I do specific exercise. And then I read my affirmations, I have my affirmations that are linked to myself affirmations that are linked to my business affirmations that are just general general things. So I use my affirmations I have them recorded. I first had the written down and my coach said, You know what, if you use like literally like speak it in them, you know, it’s going to be more powerful plus three on voice. And most people don’t like to hear listen to their own voice, right. So I have to get really get used to that. So I’ve play my own my own affirmations as well. And then I do meditation and depending on how I feel, so sometimes it’s like I want to be more connected with my inner self or sometimes I just wanted like, you know, uplifting morning something positive or meditation about being able to see opportunities that are going to come on that day, or just, some of them are just relaxing. So it really depends on how I feel. And our meditations are not very long. There are 10 minutes 1015 minutes, it took me a long time to get into meditation I always wanted to do it took me years to get to the standard 15 minutes meditation. You know, if you only do five minutes of meditation a day, or just five minutes breathing exercise that is just amazing for your body. Just like literally your body will be very grounded. If you do the regular everyday just the five minutes will make a big difference in your health and your general health. So 10 minutes is quite it works. When I do my meditation I really feel the calmness and the positivity. So I always like to start my day with this uplifting feeling. So that when something happens during the day that shifts me or makes me feel anxious or anything like that, then it’s easier to deal with it because if you don’t, you know if you wake up with the wrong side of the bed, then you’re Any moody, you know, anything that’s going to happen that you can reach out to be more moody, you know. So I think it’s important to sort of start the day with sort of upliftment. So that is my morning routine, it usually takes me around 40 minutes, half an hour. But I do like all of them, if sometimes off days to say like, it’s not really off day, but sometimes it’s like, I’m just doing the breathing and my affirmations. And that will be in 1015 minutes before, for example. And then I do my evening routine as well, which is much shorter, but it’s also meditation, meditation and breathing exercise, before I go to bed, I do another 1015 minutes. And for me, that really creates a grounding and balance within myself. So the affirmations are really about, you know, being grounded, and also knowing that for some of my affirmations are linked to my efficiency, so the things that I want and efficient can be anything, you know, your dream can be anything you dream could literally be, I just want to wake up in the morning, and feel grounded periods for some people’s like, well, I want to be a millionaire, that is a great fishing as well. So you can incorporate your affirmations in that, or I have my efficient written down as well and reading that regularly. But even now, I won’t be able to show you because my background is fake. I have like 10 things that I want to achieve. And I’m gonna come in, in the moments in this room, it’s just there, I just read that I all I do is just read it and just really start to tune into it and feel it and just visualizing, you know, how does it How would it feel if I really achieved those things and really feeling that moment of, you know, connecting to that. Because manifestation like when we do affirmations, you know, you can just write it down. But for the affirmation to manifest to say it like that, it needs to be official, it needs to be something that you also can feel. And it’s good just to write it because sometimes we have affirmation that we don’t believe, which is fine. But at some point, the more you do it with intention and consistency, you will start to believe that you can build up confidence within yourself. Because then obviously, when you know, when you get more confident and you believe in those things, that would mean that your actions will be different as well. Because you will boldly make more decisions that are going to create those fishes to come through as well. So I was reading a fish every day, for example, but with the fishing with official and the actual feeling of know how I would actually feel if I actually read reach that point, as well. And the more you do that, the more your body’s gonna get used to that feeling. And acting is gonna fall into place slowly but surely not even slowly. Some people very quickly, some people can make this very quick. Yeah, with more with more repetition and more consistency, you will be able to know to shift things quicker as well.

Hannah Mitrea  23:00

Yeah, I love that you gave like really applicable ways to implement these kinds of routines in your life to like, when you’re mentioning about like how you record your affirmations. Like it was a huge aha for me, because when I was in college, I literally take notes, and I would record myself reading all of my notes. And I would play them on repeat in the car in the shower, before I went to bed when I woke up, so I can remember these things. And so hearing you say that you do that with your affirmations, I’m like, Duh, why am I not doing? Like I did it my whole life in college in school, because I knew that was a way for me to remember and like, yeah, like be successful in something. And so take that into like a day to day I think is an amazing tactic that you shared.

Olivia Haltman  23:47

You know, what I always say is that, if you think about marketing, if you think about working in supermarket, because they know how our psyche works, because the repetition of hearing it at some point you will remember and it’s easy then to remember and then to do and to be and to behave and to feel. So when you walk into a supermarket or when you walk on the road and there is possibly this big for call assign. You might think you don’t see it, but your brain will take it in. So when you watch telly and especially in America, there’s so many. It’s crazy, even before the credit there’s a conversion. But I know why because the more you see it when you go into the supermarket, which is also which also has a layout based on how a psycho because not because it’s convenient for us is because it’s created so we can buy more. So when you look in, those things are placed in a specific way. But all of the bombarding of all of the commercials. It’s repetition. So when you you’re buying new stuff because you want to buy it somewhere in your mind. It’s based on what they tell you to buy. If you want to know some people don’t want to believe it, but it’s really you know, it’s really is if you aware of it, then obviously, you can make different kinds of decisions. But the commercials we are bombarded by because they know repetition will make people buy stuff. And you all will remember a brand, you see a caller a will pick up a specific brand, without even needing the brand. But at some point you will know it, or you will tell someone about it, you know, so it’s very, very, very effective. So I always say if they do to us, we can do it ourselves. Just have stuff in your house, like I have stuck in my house, like words that make me feel a specific way, sentences that people think oh is pretty, but it means something to me. So if you have post it notes, even on your computer, if you see every single day, you doing the same thing as a commercial, but then you have control over that. So it’s little things that I do, then I guess it’s also more routine, around the house and stuff that makes me feel uplifted, or reminds me of something happy or, you know, it’s uplifting in some kind of way. And at some point, it will be in your psyche as well, just like how we all know Coca Cola, and we don’t drink. And the matter was, I don’t

Hannah Mitrea  26:06

know, I’m like looking at my blank wall over here and just imagining all the stuff I need to go put on it now. That’s because it’s right there, I see it every day.

Olivia Haltman  26:17

It’s just little things that sort of add to, because if you like, if you think of society today, you can put on the Sally, the news, and y’all can be pressed for the rest of our lives. Right. But, you know, it’s trying to create those little hubs within your life that for you to sort of start to believe that this is true, you can still do things even in the state of the world right now, there’s still good things, but you can still manifest, even if you don’t have money, for example right now. But it will get to the point to sort of don’t see the money as the money to say it like that. Its value, what the society puts on it, because that’s, that can still happen if you believe if you shift that belief, you know, it’s all mindset.

Hannah Mitrea  27:01

Yeah, awesome. So I question this, like I’m thinking of is something that a lot of people struggle with is they get started on something, and they stop, they get started, and they stop? So what was it? Or how long did it take for you to stick to this routine? And was there something that really helped you stick to it.

Olivia Haltman  27:21

I was celebrating my achievements. So I’ll remind myself of my achievements. So if I remind because I start to, in the beginning, I didn’t notice my achievements, like it’s something that you just do. But I started to acknowledge myself. So if something bad happens, let’s say I wanted to manifest something, I planned something and it didn’t work out, I’ll probably be will be like, a bit a bit pissed off in the beginning of sets. Not now anymore, to be honest, a little bit sad, but then I will remember, that doesn’t matter. You know, I can still manifest, I still have the skills, I still have the qualities, and I still have to believe that I can do it. So it’s really sort of trying to pull yourself back at shake. Bless you. Thank you. Yeah, so it’s, it’s, you know, because life sometimes goes like this. But I’ve come to a point where, you know, sounds a little bit cheesy in the sense of peace of mind to say it like that. So even if something happens, it makes me very anxious or feel very sad about, I know how I can then sit in it, process it, but then pull myself back. And by doing that, you can have like a book with achievements that remind yourself, so when something doesn’t go the right way, or you feel sad or disappointed, or whatever it is, you can pick up that note book, or whatever it is, and read all of the stuff that you have manifested already or have achieved already. And remind yourself of the things that you already have been doing, as well. And the other thing that I remind myself is that I try to live in the moment, quite a bit. Because a lot of times, we worry about the past, or this has happened, this has happened and we worry about the future. But those two things can never exist, you can only exist now. So what you’re doing now is really the future, the future will never come. So I’ll sort of remind myself is a strange way of looking at it. But the past you can’t change anymore. You can only learn from it at some time discovering the painful stuff. But future you can only influence the future by living right now because the future will never come because you can’t live in the future. So I remind myself that when I start worrying about stuff, for example, to sort of go back, okay, put it in perspective. What is this? How is this going to help me? What can I do to help myself to sort of stay with a peace of mind? So, that’s how I measure and that’s how I look at nakoma So back to myself, and it’s gonna take quite a bit sometimes to you know, it takes a can, it can take quite a bit before you get used to putting yourself back where you get to the point where you hardly hardly have to pull yourself back. But again, consistency and the repetition of that is important. But it’s because sometimes people do one thing they focus on for only the yoga, for example, which is great, because I do yoga as well, it’s very good. But it has to be holistic, you have to look at different areas in your life. So in the beginning, it will take a lot of work to actually be monitor and look at your life from a bigger perspective. And everything is linked to it in order to sort of understand it, and then get the consistency, but it’s definitely possible to do.

Hannah Mitrea  30:43

Yeah, and I love how you shared like an actionable plan again, you know, creating this list that you can look back at when you’re mad or, and like, Thank you for sharing, like, your real emotions in those times. Like, it’s not always like candy, raindrops and sugar. It’s it is like miserable. Sometimes whenever, like, you feel like you’re doing something so well. And then it just stops working. And you have the choice at that point, do I give up entirely on everything I’ve done, and go back to the old ways, which, if you’re living in the past, you didn’t like the old ways, and so you’re trying to get out of it. So you gave him a really good way to keep track of everything. So you can look back and go, This is what I have manifested this what I’ve been able to accomplish, not to give up.

Olivia Haltman  31:32

Yeah, yeah. Because when you give up, you know, one thing for sure nothing’s going to happen. That is quite clear. So why not give it a try, don’t have anything to lose, it’s going to be challenging, it can be painful, it can be frustrating, but it’s just pushing yourself to that. And the other thing as well find someone or something that you can be can be held accountable for. That’s why I got a coach for myself. Because for me, unless you’re very disciplined, and I’m disciplined and stuff, some stuff and some stuff, not because I just easy, like, Ah, I will do it, procrastinate, procrastinate, then have to pull myself back again. So find yourself a coach, or someone that can support you, or someone that can, you know, can sort of hold you accountable for stuff because that’s also they will then help you as well as if something goes wrong in your mind or in regards of expectations, they can then help you to, you know, put things in perspective, and then they can help you to sort of okay, we know reflected on that went through it. Okay, just move forward, as well. Because it’s not about ignoring what’s going on, it’s really about actually not ignoring, it’s about acknowledging what’s going on for you. But sometimes that accountability really helps because you always have excuses, like a lot of excuses. And the main ones are like time and money, people don’t have time or don’t have money. I’m like, we all have time for sure how you want to deal with it. You know, one is the thing that we put value on, yes, we need to live, we need to pay the rent, mortgage, all of that. But he put in loads, loads of focus on it. And I think that’s creates fear. And then when the fear comes, it’s all out the window. And then we make no excuses. And then you know, someone can keep you accountable. And then Okay, let’s look at this for what it is in reality. Just put the fear aside. So that’s important as well.

Hannah Mitrea  33:22

Yeah, definitely. I think all that is spot on. So let’s talk about the success now. So you have this routine, you have a morning, routine night routine, and all around, you know, creating this visualizations, manifestation of what you want. So what is the success that this has brought you and like I have the information we talked about earlier to that you shared, were even doing this routine since 2007. So share with us the success that you’ve seen from it by doing this routine.

Olivia Haltman  33:56

successes, well, success is really the shift of the mindset. So I mean, by the shift of my mindset, I was able to say to myself, I want to be as, for example, a transformational coach, or I want to move up before even before that, I want to move countries, you know, you’re able to feel more grounded, and have that peace of mind. And for me the main shift for me, the main success is like I was able to shift the way that I think about myself and about life. Because that was, for me the main issues and I think for most people, the mindset is going to be the thing, because you can look at one thing, I can look at you now and I can see you but if I move like this, I will see you in a different way. And the whole world might be open I will be like oh, can I have some, you know, has the air on the other side which beside, for example, you know, so it’s like when you shift the camera a little bit, a whole world opens. So for me I had successes that I was able to tune in to my mindset, which then sort of created the new me, which, you know, have different beliefs and was able to create, for example, I always wanted to work less and earn more, I was able to do that I only work two days a week right now, and I still earn a good amount of money, I can do quite a lot of things quite successful with it. So it was stuff that I was able to do, because of the change of our mindset and the belief and how I see myself and how I move forward in life.

Hannah Mitrea  35:34

I love that. And I love that because I was gonna ask you like to share an example of like, something you’ve manifested. It’s come there, but you just said it, where you want to work less, but earn more. And,

Olivia Haltman  35:44

yeah, yeah. And even my counseling, even even that I wanted to go work for myself, because when I finished my studies in 2007, I just had my studies, I just had no qualification, I didn’t have the experience. But I did have experience because I was working as a volunteer. But I always wanted to work for myself. And then I was, well, I didn’t feel I could do it immediately, because I needed more experience as a volunteer to get the hours in. So I decided I’m going to work part time and I was looking for a part time job for like three years in my studies, I couldn’t find it. The minute I finished with my qualification, I think within two months, I had a part time job. And a part time job super flexible, I could start like quite late, and it was super flexible, I could really do what I wanted to do. And it was amazing. So it’s a set that I set that fishing for myself. And it actually just just pan out, this actually worked out. And then after five years or something because I started my business full time 100% 2010. So took me a few years to sort of get to the point where I was now applying also 2000 years later, is two times 22 Now, right? I think we ageism or something. Yeah, I was 100%, I wanted to because it was quite scary to go from payroll, which are now every month, I know what I’m getting in to now I’m gonna have to run clients and clients do cancel, if they cancel, they don’t pay and don’t have money. So it was quite challenging. So that was quite scary to go, no working for myself full time. And then I started to do workshops as well. And that helped me with that. So I was able to sort of, you know, have my own business. And now I have my transformational business as well. It’s like goes to the next level as well. So it’s all of those different things that you know, given the year, is I just manifested because I said, this is what I want to do. And regardless what is just going to happen with all of them. Yeah, because, you know, sometimes it can be straightforward, obviously, because sometimes things happen, like, wow. But you know, I had to work hard to do all of these things. But I believe for myself, and I did it.

Hannah Mitrea  37:54

Awesome. I love that so much. And I know we’re almost out of time. So I have two questions for you. The first one is if somebody is sitting here listening to this, and they’re in that place where you were, when you’re still an island, where they just, you know, there’s something more for them, but they don’t know what it is and how to do it. They just, you know, are maybe in that depressed state, what’s the one thing they need to start doing tomorrow to start making a change towards the life they desire?

Olivia Haltman  38:21

I would say reach out. Oh, you said the one thing, there’s so much stuff that I want to say. Like, oh, it was difficult, but the first thing to do. But I would say reach out to see or to speak to someone that you trust. to sort of get what’s going on with you off your chest to start to understand yourself more to start to be aware of what is happening with you could be a coach could be counsel could be sometimes a friend does sometimes it doesn’t have to be professional people can be someone that can listen to you and so that you can be heard. So you can figure out what’s going on with you. So I will say you wake up in the morning, that is the first thing you can do. I mean, practical wise, I always say breathing is one of the best things, it sounds very simple because we all do that every single day. But a lot of times we don’t breathe properly at all the breathing really helps helps your body to sort of feel grounded, but also the blood flows properly through our body if we do the breathing. And we can think clearly, more clearly the blood flows better. So so had to say most of them.

Hannah Mitrea  39:26

Okay, my second question is, is there a book that you would recommend somebody to read or what was one of your favorite books in development?

Olivia Haltman  39:39

Oh, I have to look at that. There’s so many stuff that I can think of. I have to look at that. And the one thing I have to say as well is a lot of laughter. It’s good to have fun. Try to do something that makes you smile, or used to make you smile. Well alive I, like so many so many different ones that I that I actually like, if I can spot. Yeah, I know. So I would, I would say go with go with

Unknown Speaker  40:19

let me see,

Olivia Haltman  40:21

I would say go with I liked deep work deep work is from it’s, it’s about. It’s not it’s personal development, but it’s it’s Cal Newport and his deep work. And it really helps you to sort of step out of your step out of your comfort zone in how you normally do stuff. So you know, sometimes using routines. Now in this example, simple examples of like, you know, do you really have to do overtime? Or how do you know, do you really have to reply to all emails and sort of, you know how to sort of think outside of the box on how to be effective in your life. Because we get stuck on this rat race of we have to be busy, but you don’t have to be this to be successful, successful. And he speaks about doing the deep work for you to sort of changing your strategy on how you actually move forward in life. But it’s linked to business, but you can use this for yourself as well. Awesome.

Hannah Mitrea  41:15

Well, I just looked it up. So I’ll definitely be putting that on my list and link it in the show notes. And we’ll also put all your information. So if anybody wants to reach out to Olivia, check out the show notes and see that all of her links, join her classes, master classes. And Olivia, just while people are listening right now, who is the ideal person that should probably reach out to you? Do you have like a certain person who really benefits from home with you? Or is it you know, really broad? Who is that person?

Olivia Haltman  41:43

Well, at the moment, I’m working as a transformational coach, I’m really working with women who wants to manifest their dreams and create efficient, so could be could be any woman really, because a lot of high achieving women, they are in the jobs but not necessarily liking it and efficient that could efficient the dream on hold. Because what I’ve achieved, I’m doing this but they’re not really happy with what they’re doing. And it’s sometimes difficult to step out of that. And I’ve just think that women in general they put their official on hold because of their mothers, my sisters, were nurturers were organizers, we do quite a lot of stuff, and we just put our life on hold quite a lot. And make excuses for that. And then forget about our dreams. So we’re colored with women who basically feel that they stuck and want to step out of what they do and really do what they really want to do. And what is the fifth action for that?

Hannah Mitrea  42:34

Awesome. So if you’re listening and you feel that she just spoke to you make sure you reach out to Olivia, like I said all her information, her website, everything will be down below for you to connect directly to her. And thank you so much Olivia for sharing such practical things that we can use and inspiration on how we can be manifesting our

Olivia Haltman  42:52

dreams. Yeah,

thank you very much for having me on. I really enjoyed it.
